IJOR is more than just a fashion label; it's a tribute to the rich Indian heritage and craftsmanship. In the premium fashion segment, especially bridal and ethnic wear, customers prefer to physically experience the product before committing to purchase. IJOR wanted to offer a "Book a Trial at Home" feature that would let customers try products at their convenience.
The challenge was to:
Allow customers to book a home trial for specific products like bridal collections, sarees, and lehengas.
Seamlessly capture customer pincode and address details to verify trial availability based on delivery zones.
Give the admin full control to manage serviceable pincodes dynamically without developer dependency.
Ensure this feature integrates smoothly into the WooCommerce product pages without disturbing the shopping experience.
Custom WordPress Plugin Development:
We developed a tailor-made WordPress plugin that introduces the "Book a Trial at Home" functionality across all relevant product pages. The feature enables users to select products for trial, enter their pincode and address, and check service availability in real time.
Pincode Validation System:
A dynamic pincode management system was built into the plugin to allow the IJOR team to easily add, edit, or remove serviceable pincodes via the WordPress backend, without any technical intervention.
Seamless WooCommerce Integration:
The plugin was carefully integrated into WooCommerce product pages, ensuring the design and functionality complemented IJOR’s brand aesthetics. The system was made user-friendly for both customers and the store admin.
